Bloom Printable DIY Home Decor
I think my favorite part about this Bloom Printable DIY Home Decor is the framed part! The printable has its own faux wood frame that honest to God looks like a real wooden frame when you decoupage it onto a sign box!
This is seriously a very easy DIY project that only took me less than 30 minutes to make!

How to Make a Bloom Printable DIY Home Decor
You’re going to start making this easy by getting the Dollar Tree sign box ready. The one that I used had a frame glued to the front with lettering.
I used my putty knife to scrape those off and smoothed out the paper on the front of the sign. Once you have the front as smooth as you can get it, paint it with white paint.
I used Apple Barrel Snow White Acrylic Paint because not only is it affordable, but it is good quality for DIY crafting!
Allow the paint to dry completely (I used my heat gun to speed up the drying process). If you don’t have a heat gun, you can use a hairdryer on the low cool setting.
Next, I measured the craft sticks for each edge of the Dollar Tree sign and I trimmed them so that they would fit perfectly around the sign.
How to stain wood
Before you attach the craft sticks to the sign, you need to stain them first. Use a wet wipe to spread brown paint across the surface of the craft sticks.
The water helps the wood absorb the paint pigment and gives it a perfect (and affordable) stained finish!
Again, I used my heat gun to quickly dry the craft sticks, then I hot glued them on the sides of the Dollar Tree sign box.
Now it’s time to add your printable! The rectangle framed bloom printable that I used for this project is part of my Framed Farmhouse Summer Bundle of printables!
Print the design to the right size and cut the excess white space from around the frame. Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the surface of the sign and place the printable onto the sign.
Smooth out any wrinkles or bubbles that may have formed. Finally, I went around the edge of the sign and painted any spots of the craft sticks that were still their natural color.
