Flowers and Lemons Acrylic Painting
Blue and Yellow painting!
It has been a while since I painted something! This week we are doing a Flowers and Lemons Acrylic Painting! This is one thing I am asked the most to do but it is the most boring thing to film live but I thought the Creative Haven lovelies would be over the moon to paint with me! So this week we are doing just that!
For this acrylic painting project, I will be using heavy body acrylic paints. You can certainly use the dollar store paints for this but you may find that the outcome may vary from what I will end up with.
Heavy body acrylics are very different than the .50 cent paints. Keep this in mind. You will still be able to get beautiful flowers and lemons acrylic painting using cheap paints.
Dollar Tree Crafters Square brushes are a must!
No skills needed to create beautiful artwork!
For this project, you will need nothing more than a willingness to try and to think outside the box! Painting is really more of an interpretation of the artist rather than copying a step-by-step method. Get ready to let your creativity flow through your own ideas!

Because this is a secret project only for Creative Haven members, I won’t be sharing the tutorial publicly so if you want to make this with us you will need to become a member of the Creative Haven VIP you can do that here!
A painting you will want to do!
Just remember you can use the paint you have on hand and think outside the box, however for this one you are going to really want to use the heavy bodied paints. Get Creative! For this home decor DIY, most of the supplies you will need for this craft are going to be found at various stores or online.
One of my favorite stores is Dollar Tree but if you do not have access to a Dollar Tree crafters square you can use items found in other stores like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Joanns, and maybe even Walmart or Dollar General!
Plus you can substitute where you want as well! For this one, I am using items from Dollar Tree and items found at Hobby Lobby and on Amazon.
For all the lemon lovers!
This week’s CREATIVE HAVEN member’s only craft is Flowers and Lemons Acrylic Painting
