DIY Dollar Tree Christmas Ornaments

We will be making two DIY Dollar Tree Christmas Ornaments! Last year I started making my own ornaments and feel as though I never had enough of my own ornaments on my tree. It was lots of random clearance ornaments. Don’t get me wrong, they are very cute, but I am a maker, and I want to totally make more of my own this year. Maybe you do too. I have 2 easy ornaments that you can make super cheap too.

This week’s Creative Haven Project is two DIY Dollar Tree Christmas Ornaments.

My maker wheels have been turning ever since I dug into my Christmas craft stash tote, actually totes, but who’s counting!

Alright, let’s have a look at the supplies that we will need!

July 27th, 2020 Supply List for DIY Dollar Tree Christmas Ornaments:

You will need: (items shown in photo or any substitution you prefer) Don’t forget, you are not required to use the exact items!

Ornament number 1:

• Book rings Dollar Tree
• Twine or Jute, I got mine at Dollar Tree
• Ribbon, Burlap, Fabric, or Yarn of your choice

Ornament number 2:

• Clothes Pins (I got mine at Dollar Tree)
• A button
• You can use a marker or a paint pen (my paint pen came from Walmart)
• If you want you can use a wood tag, I got mine at Michael’s
• I will be using ribbon
• Jute or Twine
• White paint and Black Paint
• E6000 (not shown) (you may want to use this)
• Glue Gun
• Glue Sticks
• Heat Gun or Dryer
• Paint Brushes (I use chip brushes like these)
• OPTIONAL: if you want to use glitter you can.

Please substitute where you can! If it is not in your budget to purchase supplies, please get creative and think outside the box! Ask yourself, What else could you use?! Furthermore, do you have things at home you can use? You can still craft with us! BUYING SUPPLIES FOR THE CRAFTS in the Creative Haven is NOT a requirement. I simply want you to craft with us and make it your own.
