This easy DIY home decor project idea came to me when I was thinking of doing something totally different. Everyone loves Dollar Tree DIY Farmhouse Wall Decor right? Well, I know I do! Farmhouse decor is still popular and going strong, and I am not sure exactly when the farmhouse trend will end. This DIY project will involve us creating a window and faux shutters!

We can’t get everything at Dollar Tree!

One of my favorite stores is Dollar Tree but if you do not have access to a Dollar Tree crafters square you can use items found in other stores like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Joanns, and maybe even Walmart or Dollar General! Plus you can substitute where you want as well! For this one, I am using items from Dollar Tree and items found at Home Depot, and at Walmart!

May 3rd 2021 Supply List for Dollar Tree DIY Farmhouse Wall Decor

SUPPLY LIST

You will need: (items shown in the photo or any substitution you prefer) Don’t forget, you are not required to use the exact items! “As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.” 

• Dollar Tree 8×10 framed canvas 
• Greenery to make your small wreath I got mine at Hobby Lobby but Walmart has it too 
• Dollar Tree Jenga blocks you will need 4
• Dollar Tree craft dowels you will need 2
• Brown paint
• White Paint
• Dollar Tree ribbon of your choice I will be using 3 different ribbons
• Quart size paint sticks get them at home depot or lowes 
• Chicken wire or chicken wire ribbon Walmart has the ribbon 
• Large craft sticks I got mine at Walmart
• Glue Gun
• Hot Glue
• E6000 (optional)
• Scissors / Stapler / Aviation Snips

The supply list is a list of what will be used by me, but there are no specifications as to how much of the items you will need. This will be determined after the project has been completed. I can not tell you exactly what colors or how much we will use until the project is completed. I give you a list of what I am using.

Please substitute where you can!

If it is not in your budget to purchase supplies, please get creative and think outside the box! Ask yourself, “What else could you use?” Furthermore, do you have things at home you can use? You can still craft with us! BUYING SUPPLIES FOR THE CRAFTS in the Creative Haven is not a requirement. I simply want you to craft with us and make it your own.
