DIY Arched Window using Foam Board

I love old windows!

Back when I had my storefront I used to sell these window arches. I was asked if I would make a DIY version. This week in the Creative Haven VIP we are going to make a DIY Arched Window using Foam Board. Based on my ideas I am pretty sure I have a genius way to make one and I can not wait to share how to make an arch window using foam board from Dollar Tree.

Foam board is amazing and honestly, people never really notice my decor DIY’s using foam board so I think making a window arch with it will be so high-end looking.

Fun and easy home decor DIY’s for any budget

Just remember you can use what you have on hand and think outside the box, heck I bet you could make this using cardboard too. Get Creative! For this home decor DIY, most of the supplies you will need for this craft are going to be found at various stores. One of my favorite stores is Dollar Tree but if you do not have access to a Dollar Tree crafters square you can use items found in other stores like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Joanns, and maybe even Walmart or Dollar General! Plus you can substitute where you want as well!

March 1st, 2021 Supply List for DIY Arched Window using Foam Board

You will need: (items shown in the photo or any substitution you prefer) Don’t forget, you are not required to use the exact items! “As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.” 

• Dollar Tree Foam Board you need 2 sheets
• Post-it notes
• White Paint
• Brown paint
• Black paint
• Glue Gun
• Glue Sticks
• Brushes
• exacto-knife or slice tool 

The supply list is a list of what will be used, but there are no specifications as to how much of the items you will need. This will be determined after the project has been completed. 

Please substitute where you can!

If it is not in your budget to purchase supplies, please get creative and think outside the box! Ask yourself, “What else could you use?” Furthermore, do you have things at home you can use? You can still craft with us! BUYING SUPPLIES FOR THE CRAFTS in the Creative Haven is not a requirement. I simply want you to craft with us and make it your own.
