How to Make a DIY Farmhouse Wreath Decor
Step one of this project is to get your framed sign ready! I got mine from Hobby Lobby (on clearance of course!), so I had to remove the clearance sticker and paint over the small design on the sign.
I painted the front of the sign with white paint so that it was all the same color. Allow the white paint to completely dry (I like to use my heat gun to speed up the drying process).
Once the paint was dry, I covered the entire surface with Mod Podge and placed the buffalo check scrapbook paper onto the surface.
Use a rolling pin to smooth out any wrinkles or bubbles in the scrapbook paper, then remove the excess scrapbook paper. You can use an Exacto knife to easily cut the extra paper off.
Next, you’re going to hot glue the wreath onto the decoupaged sign! Firmly press the wreath into the glue on the sign to make sure it is secured in place.
Pick out the greenery or flowers that you want on your wreath. I used Boxwood greenery and cut small snippets off the large prays.
Hot glue each piece of the greenery/flowers onto the wreath until it is sufficiently covered. Once all the pieces are secured in place, you’re ready to decorate your home with this adorable DIY Farmhouse Wreath Decor!
